How Well Do You Know the Tobacco Display Ban Regulations?

ACS is encouraging retailers to follow Assured Advice on the tobacco display ban to ensure compliance with the regulations. By signing up to Assured Advice (free of charge for ACS members), retailers cannot be challenged by local enforcement agencies if they are following the guidance set out through Assured Advice.

The display ban was introduced in 2012 for all stores over 3000 sq ft / 280 sq m, with a three year period allowed for smaller retailers to prepare for the change. ACS has been instrumental in ensuring that compliance with the regulations is as cost effective and practical for convenience store retailers as possible.

ACS has produced a short ten question quiz about the tobacco display ban regulations to ensure that you and your staff are aware of the display ban regulations and what you can and can’t do under the new rules. The quiz can be taken here: http://www.acs.org.uk/display-ban-quiz/
