ACS Announces 2020 Technology Showcase Finalists!

ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) is delighted to announce the finalists chosen to present at the upcoming Technology Showcase.

Taking place on 5th February in Birmingham, the event will bring together retailers and suppliers to hear first-hand about the latest innovations in technology which retailers can use to improve their customers’ shopping experience or help them with the day to day running of their store.

The finalists for the 2020 Technology Showcase, who will present their innovations to an audience of leading retailers on the day are:

  • HL Display UK- provide a range of products that can create a bulk merchandising and zero waste category within the store, using gravity and scoop bins that can be used with most loose products to provide a great customer offer.
  • APG Cash Drawer- SMARTtill is an intelligent cash drawer, it counts the cash and provides real-time data and a full transactional audit trail.
  • epay-  through epay’s Promotion Management portal retailers can create offers in 3 quick and easy steps. This can be managed at head office or by individuals in-store with different admin levels available to be applied.
  • NearSt- boost in-store footfall by making the products on shop shelves visible to shoppers nearby searching in Google.
  • Snappy Shopper- Convenience stores can now increase their online sales through this intuitive and easy to use app where consumers can quickly add products to cart, check out and get it delivered in under an hour.
  • IQOS- Philip Morris’ IQOS device offers the closest experience to smoking a cigarette on the UK market. The pioneering technology heats tobacco to 350°C – enough to release a flavourful vapour without burning – generating on average 95% less of the harmful toxins found in cigarette smoke.

Taking place after the Showcase, ACS’ Hosted One2Ones is the business speed dating event which provides retailers and suppliers with the opportunity to network build new and exciting relationships.
