Book Your Place at Summit 15

ACS is challenging retailers to find and share the best ideas in convenience stores from around the globe as part of a host of changes to the industry leading Summit conference, taking place in Birmingham on April 21st 2015.

This year, the Summit programme for 2015 will be split in to three inspiring sections, ‘The Big Download’, ‘The Master Plan’ and ‘The Ideas Studio’.

Starbucks’ UK Managing Director, Kris Engskov and BP’s Retail Director, Catherine Nunn, will be kicking off The Master Plan - an inspiring session to change the way retail is perceived. Regardless of your business size, there will be a wealth of things to take away to help improve, expand and drive footfall in to your store.

The Ideas Studio is a session jam packed with retail innovations from all over the globe. The ‘Ideas Wall’ will showcase the very best the world has to offer in the sector with images featuring new methods to interact with customers, technology and more. The popular Road Trip feature has now evolved, becoming the ‘Battle of the Best’ with two top retailers scouring the country, both trying to find the most cutting-edge convenience store.

The Big Download will be bursting with key knowledge about the convenience sector, presented by a host of research experts from within the industry, including Jill Livesey from him!. The session will seek to uncover the depths of the sector, looking at how c-stores have changed over the years, how they are now embracing current trends and how they are expected to evolve in the future.

ACS Chief Executive James Lowman said: “Over the last ten years, Summit has grown to be a must attend event for everyone in the convenience sector, from independent retailers to multinational suppliers. This year, we are building on our success by launching the most interactive Summit conference ever with a new app dedicated to the event and a challenge to retailers to bring together more great ideas about convenience stores in one place than has ever been achieved before. Summit will be anchored by our incredible depth and range of top speakers, and we are certain that everyone in attendance will be able to take something back and improve their business.”
