General Mills have been making their way into the homes of UK and Ireland shoppers since the 1960s. The company’s most iconic brands are Betty Crocker, Jus Roll, Old El Paso, Nature Valley, Green Giant, and Häagen-Dazs.
General Mills UK have several ‘Social Responsibility Programmes’ and one of these is the ‘Charitable Employee Match’ where employees are encouraged to participate in their own fundraising efforts and their sums raised for charitable causes are matched by the company. Matched donations have increased annually since the scheme started and some of the charities include Jeans for Genes and Cancer Research’s Race for Life.
