Crimestoppers and the Association of Convenience Stores offers reward of up to £10K for information on man wanted in connection with murder of Watford shop owner.
Independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers and the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) are offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the location, arrest and conviction of Michael McInerney
The 32-year-old, of no fixed abode, was arrested in connection with the murder of shop owner Arulchelvam Prasanna last year but failed to answer bail and is still on the run from police.
Father-of-one Mr Prasanna, from Watford, was found with severe head injuries in a Costco car park in Hartspring Lane, Bushey, Watford, at 2.45pm on May 26, 2013.
The 34-year-old shop owner had driven to the wholesale outlet in his Ford transit van to buy goods for the stores he managed in Kent and London.
He was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital, London, but died of his injuries 11 days later.
Two men have since been sentenced to a total of eighteen years in prison for the manslaughter of Mr Prasanna.
Patrick O’Driscoll, 34, from Hertford, was given ten and half years and James O’Driscoll, 45, from Roydon, was given seven and a half years.
But detectives from the Bedfordshire Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit are still on the hunt for McInerney.
Now charity Crimestoppers and ACS have offered a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to his location, arrest and conviction.

We hope that this reward will help with the investigation and bring to justice all those responsible for the murder of Mr Prasanna.”
