2. The launch of the 2020 Local Shop Report, featuring insights from retailers on what the report says about their businesses.

3. A debate on the role and relevance of the sector after the Covid crisis, featuring the authors of four reports specially-commissioned by ACS.

The first session, People, Food and Convenience, will address a number of key issues relevant to your business, including the relevance of our sector, colleagues, food and how these areas have been impacted by Covid-19.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Jonny McQuarrie, Managing Director, One Stop
  • Nikki Rogers, Food Solutions Director, AF Blakemore
  • Matthew Taylor, Chief Executive, RSA

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “We are excited to be able to combine all this content into a really powerful, timely and relevant conference. This fantastic line-up of speakers will bring new perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing our sector.

“We have learned through this period without face-to-face events that we can deliver strong content online, and for Summit we’ve invested in a delivery platform that will allow delegates to really engage with the presentations and network with each other. It’s going to be as close to the Summit experience as possible, and in fact this will allow us to add even more value with some new features we’re able to offer.

“This is an going to be an unmissable event for anyone working with the convenience sector and our agenda is packed full of insight, innovation and information relevant to your business.”

Summit20 is sponsored by: COOK, Christie & Co and Ubamarket.
