Book Your Place for Summit20 and Local Shop Report Launch!

Book your place at ACS’ unmissable annual conference taking place on 9th September 2020.

Summit20 will be taking place as a virtual immersive event with three main sessions:

1. Leading experts will explore the future of the industry, asking how we can support colleagues working in stores, and what the food offer of the future looks like.

2. The launch of the 2020 Local Shop Report, featuring insights from retailers on what the report says about their businesses.

3. A debate on the role and relevance of the sector after the Covid crisis, featuring the authors of three reports specially-commissioned by ACS.

The third session will feature a debate with leading industry experts exploring the impact of Covid-19 on three key areas: the future of the food industry, consumer attitudes and behaviours, and the wider retail market.

  • Rebecca Tobi, Project Manager, Food Foundation
  • Jonathan Reynolds, Associate Professor in Retail Marketing, Said Business School
  • Michaela Rhode, Associate Director, BritainThinks

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “The coronavirus outbreak has had a profound impact not just on our sector but on our whole way of life. At Summit20 we will be exploring how these changes may endure, and what our sector may look like post-Covid. Our specially commissioned reports provide an insight into areas relevant to your business and this debate will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage with leading thinkers who they wouldn’t usually hear from at industry events.

“I urge everyone working in convenience to secure their place as soon as possible to make sure that they don’t miss out on the biggest convenience event of the year.”

Summit20 is sponsored by: COOK, Christie & Co and Ubamarket.
