ACS is encouraging everyone involved in the convenience sector to book their places for the 2024 Local Shop Report launch, taking place online on 10th September. The Local Shop Report provides a comprehensive annual look at the shops, retailers, colleagues and customers that make up the UK convenience sector. First published in 2012, the report has grown every year to become a must-read in the industry for suppliers, retailers and both local and national decision makers.
This year’s report will explore the current state of the UK convenience sector, the challenges it faces and the changes that retailers are making to futureproof their businesses. We have also invited three industry experts to take part in a discussion about the findings of the report. The panellists for the 2024 Local Shop Report launch are:
- Stefan Appleby, Head of Retail Engagement at Newtrade
- Priyesh Patel, Part Owner at Londis N16
- Jo Hounsell, HR Director for Appleby Westward
ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “The launch event provides a first look at the report itself, the opportunity for you to be a part of an exclusive discussion between leading retailers and see how the findings could influence the way you do business in the coming year.
“Our Local Shop Report is essential reading for anyone working in or with the convenience sector and I would urge you all to book your place to make sure that you can be part of the conversation.”
