ACS is calling on retailers to share their experiences of crime in stores. Make your voice heard by telling us about the impact of violence, abuse, theft and other crimes on your business by taking part in the 2026 Crime Survey. 

This survey aims to gather detailed data on the scale and impact of crime across the convenience sector. We want to understand how you are tackling crime, what investments you have made in prevention and detection, and your experiences with the police and the wider justice system. 

By participating, you can help us paint an accurate picture of crime and its effect on convenience retailers. The findings from the survey will inform the 2026 ACS Crime Report, which we will share with MPs, officials, police, and other decision makers to highlight the reality and true scale of crime faced by retailers on a daily basis. The report will also outline any measures we believe are necessary to address repeat offending.
