Small Business Saturday 7th December

Support Small Businesses with Small Business Saturday

Taking place this year on 7th December, Small Business Saturday is an annual campaign celebrating and encouraging support for small businesses across the UK. The grassroots, non-profit and non-political campaign encourages people across the country to support small businesses, whether online, in-offices, or in-store. Many of these small businesses participate by holding different promotions and events, encouraging support from millions of customers which has a huge impact all year round.

Retailers are encouraged to get involved in Small Business Saturday, as it provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase the positive impacts that convenience stores have on their local communities, and gain support and recognition for their hard work. Below contains more information on how to get involved, as well as toolkits that might be useful to amplify the campaign.

The Comms Toolkit contains content ideas that retailers can utilise to amplify the campaign, such as the key messages, key dates, and relevant links. It also comes with a marketing pack which can help retailers with social media posts.
The Marketing Toolkit contains logos, social media assets, and posters for retailers to use to support the campaign in-store. These are also available on the official website.

You can access the toolkits here. For more information about Small Business Saturday and how you can get involved, visit https://smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/index.aspx.
