PPCs Visit Londis Retailer in East Ham

Independent Londis retailer Kamlesh Patel has hosted store visits from his Prospective Parliamentary Candidates (PPCs) ahead of the General Election.

PPC Stephen Timms attended from the Labour Party, as well as PPC Kirsty Finlayson from the Conservative Party.

Kamlesh used the visit to discuss issues including the impact of retail crime, business rates, the National Living Wage and Deposit Return Schemes.

Kamlesh Patel has been a retailer at the store for almost two decades, which underwent a refurbishment 18 months ago. The store provides bill payment services, home grocery delivery, dry cleaning and a new food to go offer.

ACS has produced a short video detailing what to do when local decision makers come to visit your store, and how to get your points across. The video is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h4lmkhXnSg
