There’s less than 2 weeks to complete the ACS Crime Survey, which closes next Friday on the 17th January.
ACS is calling on all retailers to take part in the survey, which investigates the impact of crime in the convenience sector, the experiences of retailers in dealing with and trying to prevent crime, and relationships that retailers have with the police and wider justice system. It will also collect data on the effectiveness of crime prevention and detection measures used by retailers across the country.
All convenience store retailers are encouraged to take part, as every response is important in providing a comprehensive picture of crime in our sector. The findings of the Crime Survey will be used in our annual Crime Report, which is key for informing MPs, officials, the police and other decision-makers about the reality of crime in our sector.
This year, we will be launching the Crime Report the ACS Safe & Responsible Retailing Conference, taking place at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre on the 12th of March. As well as discussing the findings from the report, we'll also focus on practical actions retailers can take to tackle retail crime.
