Last chance to book for ACS Heart of the Community 2014

The seventh annual ACS Heart of the Community conference will be taking place on Tuesday 21st October from 12.00pm – 3.30pm.

The conference, held in Westminster, brings retailers from across the country together with MPs and Ministers to discuss important issues facing local shops. 

The event will be chaired by journalist, Daisy McAndrew. Speakers confirmed include Nick Boles MP – Retail Minister, Steve Reed MP – Shadow Home Office Minister, Simon Danczuk MP – Small Shops Group Chair, James Lowman – ACS Chief Executive, Sire Gerald Howarth, Lorely Burt MP, Seema Malhotra MP and Tom Mludzinski – ComRes Head of Political Polling.

Heart of the Community is a popular event affording retailers unrivalled access to relevant Government Ministers to get their voices heard on the issues that matter to them.

ACS Chief Executive, James Lowman, said, “ACS Heart of the Community conference allows us to show officials how important local convenience stores are to the UK economy and provides retailers with a platform to have their say on the big decisions that affect the industry”. 

The event, held at Church House Conference Centre, will be followed by an exclusive drinks reception on the House of Commons Terrace at 4.00pm.
