Headline Speakers Announced for 2016 Crime Seminar

ACS has announced a packed line-up of MPs, industry experts and senior retailers to speak at this year’s ACS Crime Seminar, taking place on 17 March at Methodist Central Hall, London.

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “Retail crime is one of the biggest operational challenges convenience retailers face. The Crime Seminar provide retailers with the opportunity to hear from industry experts, crime policy champions and share best practice with other retailers to discover new ways to reduce crime in their store”.

Confirmed speakers at the Crime Seminar include:

The Crime Seminar will also feature the launch of the ACS Crime Report 2016. The Report brings together the experiences of criminal activity from over 7,000 convenience stores, providing an insight into the impact of crime on retailers. The report will also feature industry leading guidance for retailers and staff on how to deal with crime in-store. For the first time, the Crime Report will feature guidance for retailers on how to prevent staff theft.
