Deadline for National Lottery Applications is 18th December

The deadline to complete the Transfer of Retailer Agreement (TRA) in order to remain a National Lottery retailer from 1st February (the start of the Fourth National Lottery Licence) is on the 18th December. If you haven't done so already, register and log into the TRA portal at www.TNLPartners.co.uk.

If you do not complete the transfer of Retailer Agreement process by 18 December 2023, your National Lottery Retailer Agreement will be terminated on 1 February 2024 and you will no longer be able to sell National Lottery products. The following actions will then take place:

•    Your terminal will be switched off and will be removed, along with all other National Lottery equipment and unactivated Scratchcards.
•    All active Scratchcards will need to be removed from sale.
•    All activated Scratchcards will be settled immediately and you will receive a final invoice on Sunday 4 February, with payment taken on Wednesday 7 February.

If you are a Postmaster, you have been sent an email from [email protected] regarding applications to become a National Lottery retailer in the Fourth National Lottery Licence.

If you have not yet started the application process or have yet to return the required information and/or documents, we strongly encourage you to refer to the email sent to you to understand the specific actions that need to be addressed, ahead of the deadline of 18th December 2023. If you don't complete the application process or any actions required by this date, there is a risk that you won't be able to sell National Lottery products from 1st February 2024.

If you have any questions about next steps, please send an email to [email protected] or call the free* Retailer Hotline on 0800 8 40 50 60, selecting option 2 for the Retail Provisioning department, then option 5.

*Calls to 0800 numbers are FREE when calling from a UK landline or mobile. Charges may apply when calling from a business line or from abroad.
