Book your free place at the launch of ACS’ Welsh Local Shop Report Launch, taking place on 9th February at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay.
The morning launch event will delve into the findings of the report and explore the important role that convenience stores play in the lives of customers and communities across Wales.
Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething MS will address the launch via video message and will reflect on the economic and social value of local shops in Wales.
ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “Convenience stores play a crucial role in communities across Wales, providing good quality employment to thousands of people, access to essential products and services and acting as a social hub for those who may be more isolated or vulnerable.
“We’re delighted to be returning to Wales to shine a spotlight on these fantastic businesses and explore the unique opportunities and challenges that they face now and may face in the future.”
The launch will be followed by a tour of innovative convenience stores and will provide the chance for delegates to hear directly from the retailers about their experiences of running a local shop in Wales. Click here to book your place.
