ACS Launch Exciting App for Summit 15 Event

ACS have launched a helpful new app to coincide with their unmissable Summit 15 event on 21st April 2015. The bespoke app is packed will features to enhance your experience before, during and after the convenience stores industry’s key event of the year, held at the NEC in Birmingham.

The specially designed app provides its users with some fantastic networking opportunities. It allows you to upload your details and creates a unique QR code business card. You can then swap your details with other attendees through the app’s scanning feature. There is also a chat section, allowing you to ‘talk shop’ with hundreds of other ACS members and suppliers who are attending the event.

A full agenda of the day will be easy to view through the app, plus interesting biographies of the day’s top speakers. Speakers already confirmed for Summit 15 include: President of Starbucks in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Kris Engskov, BP’s UK Retail Director, Catherine Nunn and Executive Director of him! Research and Consulting, Jill Livesey, who will all be revealing their inside knowledge of how to be exceptionally successful in the retail and services industry.

The app also enables you to interact with ACS through Twitter, allowing you to tweet your pictures for the ‘Ideas Wall’ feature of the event. This section of the day will be loaded with images sent in by ACS members of innovative ideas to improve stores and better interact with customers.

Other features of the app include guides, maps, travel and accommodation advice, a notes taking facility, PowerPoint presentations from the speakers and additional handy information.

The app is available to download now for both Android and Apple platforms, just search ‘ACS Summit’ in the App Store.
