ACS Encourages Retailers and Suppliers to Enrol in the 2022 Convenience Leadership Programme

There’s just two weeks until the start of the 2022 Convenience Leadership Programme, a course run in partnership between ACS and Surrey Business School, University of Surrey.

The course has been designed for area managers, buying teams, independent retailers, sales and market research specialists, and consultants to develop their expertise in convenience retailing.

Students successfully completing the programme will have:

  • A solid strategic and practical knowledge of convenience retailing, knowledge of the portfolio and activities from ACS
  • Gained a network of like-minded people within the sector
  • On completion of the programme, you will receive a graduation certificate attesting you a “Convenience Leadership Programme graduate” from the University of Surrey

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “In just two years, the Convenience Leadership Programme has become established as the gold standard for executive education in the convenience sector.

“This is a fantastic development opportunity for those working in and with the convenience sector and we’re excited to be welcoming a new group onto the programme.”

Feedback on the programme from participants has shown the course to add significant value to people wanting to be exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking, while being firmly grounded in the realities of convenience retailing. Most companies that have previously booked colleagues on the course have re-booked for 2022. A participant from the 2021 programme said: “Amazing experience, enjoyed every minute and enhanced my own personal development and growth throughout.”

The latest taster session took place today and the 2022 course brochure is available here.
