ACS Calls on Retailers to Take Part in the 2023 Colleague Survey

ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) is calling on people working in local shops to take part in its annual Colleague Survey.

The survey asks colleagues about their experience of working in the convenience sector, looking at a number of key areas including: job satisfaction, the most valuable benefits, work/life balance, and more.

ACS’ Colleague Survey is designed to:

  1. inform ACS’ Local Shop Report and other research projects
  2. provide insights which feed into discussions with policymakers
  3. identify a benchmark and contribute to improving colleagues’ working environments
  4. give context to conversations at ACS’ employment expert group and other events

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “We’ve been running our Colleague Survey for eight years now and these findings form a crucial part of our research and play an important role in our conversations with policymakers.

“We are calling on people working in the convenience sector to take part in our Colleague Survey to help us to form an accurate picture of what it is like to work in a local shop. The findings of this survey will allow us to make the case to Government about what our sector needs and help employers to understand how they can support their staff.”

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be confidential and anonymous. We are also awarding One4All vouchers worth £100 each to 10 lucky respondents – the details for this competition can be found at the start of the survey.

The deadline is the 10th March 2023, if you have any questions about the survey, please get in touch with [email protected].
