Conference26 returns to the Vox in Birmingham on 14th April 2026, bringing together over 500 retailers, suppliers, and industry experts to shape the future of our sector.

Conference26 is the biggest event of the convenience calendar, with high impact speakers, insightful discussions with senior industry leaders, and real-world tested ideas that you can take back to the business straight away.

Confirmed speakers and panellists for Conference26 include:

  • William Higham, one of the world's leading futurists and behavioural strategy experts

  • Stewart Fenn, sales director at Booker Retail Partners

  • Michael Fletcher, managing director of SPAR UK Ltd

  • Steve Browne, chief executive at Heart of England Co-op

  • Rebecca Dunlop, head of convenience - commercial propositions at Sainsbury’s

  • Andy Allen, retail operations director at bp

Conference26 will also feature the return of our Ideas Battle, where two teams of award-winning independent retailers will battle for your vote, sharing new retail and convenience ideas, but only you can decide the winner. This year’s team captains are Jack Matthews (Bradley’s Supermarkets) and Charlotte Dant (Gill Marsh Forecourts).

We're delighted to be working with GB Takis who are returning as the headline sponsor for Conference26, as well as Coca Cola Europacific Partners, TOMRA, Carnaud Metalbox and Smiths News who will be partner sponsors of the event in 2026.
