Three weeks ago, Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, launched their 2025 Local Retail Champions campaign, and the public have been busy voting for their local store – to thank and recognise them for the important role they play in their communities. 

Nominations are open until 19 October - make sure you encourage your customers to vote to be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes, including two national prizes of £15,000 each and 16 regional prizes of £5,000 each, in cash. 

In addition, Allwyn is launching an Innovation Award category*, to celebrate  the impact of local National Lottery Good Causes. Because of you, and your customers, over £30m is raised every week for Good Causes, for projects big and small, up and down the country.

From Monday 29 September, you will be able to submit an idea about how you could bring local National Lottery Good Causes to life in your store. 

Two independent retailers with the best ideas will each win £2,500 cash and up to £2,500 to implement their idea!

Plus, all winners will get an exclusive invite to the Local Retail Champions 2025 award ceremony at the Hilton Syon Park, London on Thursday 20 November,  to celebrate their winning entries and to collect their awards.
