Summit 17: Download the ACS Events App Today!

We are just days away from the biggest convenience event of the year, Summit17. As part of the event, we’ll be asking for your views during the sessions, interacting with the speakers and shaping the agenda.

The only way to get involved with the voting on the day is to download the free Summit 17 app from the App Store. The app includes all of the details you’ll need for the event, including up to date delegate lists, venue information and profiles of all of our fantastic speakers. You’ll also be able to ask questions to the speakers through the app, which will form an essential part of our panel sessions on the day.

To download the app, just search “ACS Events” in the app store.

Summit17 brings retailers, suppliers, and industry experts from around the world together to explore the successes and challenges of the industry and discuss new ideas retailers can walk away with.

This year’s Summit will be divided into three thought-provoking sessions, each segment with a guest speaker and followed by a panel discussion.

The first session will be kicked off by Scott Hartman, the President and CEO at Rutter’s, a chain of convenience and forecourt stores with 65 locations in the United States, as well as hear from Nick Read from Nisa. Food industry expert Jane Milton will then speak on market and industry trends in the sector and how retailers can capitalise on these.

The audience will hear from One Stop CEO Tracey Clements in the second session, Simply Fresh retailer Kash Khera, and also Spar retailer Thomas Ennis.

The final session, the Ideas Studio, will include a presentation from ACS Commercial Director Paul Chamberlain, who will share some of the most innovative displays, products, and features in convenience stores from around the world.

Battle of the Best will be hosted by retailers Raj Aggarwal and Avtar Sidhu, who will share a video of their road trip to film successful retailers across the country.

The day will wrap up with an address from international business speaker David Meade, who has worked on operational development strategies with organisations that include Apple PwC, Harvard in Boston, the Cabinet Office in Westminster and Bank of America.
