ShopKind Supports Safer Business Action Week

ShopKind is supporting Safer Business Action Week and encouraging all ShopKind supporters to get involved by promoting ShopKind materials and spreading the campaign message across their network.

Taking place from 16th October, the aim of the week is to put a focus on business crime, raise awareness of the issues affecting businesses and highlight the existing work that is taking place to provide support to businesses.

As part of the initiative, police and partners will be holding Safer Business Action Days throughout the week and will be visiting local retailers and other businesses to understand more about the issues they face on a daily basis.

ACS government relations director Edward Woodall said: “We encourage all businesses to get behind the national week of action and share messages with their customers and colleagues about ShopKind.”

The #ShopKind campaign is co-ordinated by ACS, backed by the Home Office and supported by over 100 leading high street retailers, the nation’s shopkeepers and trade union USDAW. The campaign aims to remind customers about the importance of being considerate to shopworkers and each other.

Retailers can access ShopKind assets, including posters, social media banners, and an in-store radio announcement on the NBCC website here.
