One Stop retailers Rob and Lindsey Kilday have hosted store visits from their Prospective Parliamentary Candidates (PPCs) ahead of the General Election.
PPC Peter Cuthbertson and Baroness Neville-Rolfe attended from the Conservative Party. Green Party candidate Matthew Snedker and Liberal Democrat candidate Anne-Marie Curry also visited the convenience store at different times on the day.
Rob and Lindsey used the visit to discuss a range of issues with their PPCs, including the National Living Wage, retail crime, deposit return schemes and business investments.
ACS has produced a short video detailing what to do when local decision makers come to visit your store, and how to get your points across. The video is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h4lmkhXnSg
