Less Than a Week to Go! Book for ACS Heart of the Community 2015

ACS’ unmissable political event, Heart of the Community 2015, will be taking place on the 13th October and offers you unrivalled access to key MPs and Ministers.

ACS’ Heart of the Community is the best opportunity for you to raise your concerns with Parliamentarians about key issues currently affecting the sector, including Sunday trading reform and the introduction of the National Living Wage, and the impact these policies will have on your store.

The conference, taking place at Church House Conference Centre in Westminster, brings retailers from across the UK together with MPs, Ministers and industry experts to discuss the issues that really matter to local shops.

Top political journalist, John Pienaar, will be chairing the conference speaking to both retailers and MPs. The Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Small Shops, Simon Danczuk MP and Vice Chair of the APPG on Small Shops, Luke Hall MP, will be unveiling their insights for the future of small shops and the work they are doing on your behalf in Parliament. Independent retailers, Dean Holborn and Raj Chandarana, will be joined by Scotfresh’s Managing Director, Shaun Marwaha on the retailer panel discussing how working with their local authority has benefited their stores.

ACS Heart of the Community will be followed by an exclusive drinks reception on the House of Commons Terrace where you will have the opportunity to get your voice heard on the national and local topics that matter to you with a range of MPs from across the country.
