ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) is encouraging local shops to get involved in Small Business Saturday, taking place on 2nd December.
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their communities.
The campaign is now in its eleventh year and continues to champion small businesses across the UK.
ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “We are proud to support Small Business Saturday and are encouraging retailers to get involved in any way that they can on 2nd December.
“The campaign strives to highlight the important role that small businesses, including local shops, play in the lives of customers and to the economy and it has encouraged millions of customers to shop in their local communities.”
Retailers can get involved by registering their business on the Small Business Finder and sharing content on social media. More information about the campaign, including a marketing pack, can be found here: https://smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/
