The UK’s Deposit Management Organisation has officially re-branded as Exchange for Change. This comes just weeks ahead of their participation in the 2026 Safe & Responsible Retailing Conference, taking place on 18 March 2026 at the Birmingham Rep Theatre.
The re-brand reflects the organisation’s core mission: enabling simple, impactful behaviour change through the return of drinks containers for deposit refunds. Exchange for Change has also introduced a new scheme icon, designed to become a clear, recognisable marker for all in-scope bottles, cans and return points across the UK. This icon will appear on all eligible packaging ahead of the scheme’s launch in October 2027, helping consumers identify containers that can be returned through the DRS.
What to Expect at the 2026 Conference
