New figures from the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) have revealed that almost half (47%) of Scottish independent retailers do not know how they will approach the deposit return scheme which is due to go live on 16^th August.

ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) is calling on convenience retailers to share their experience of retail crime over the past 12 months by taking part in its 2023 Crime Survey.

The survey looks at the impact that retail crime has on local shops and colleagues, looking at the number of incidents and the cost that these incidents have had on the business.
