ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) is reminding retailers about its 'Retailer Services Checklist', a resource that stores can use to work with councils to provide support to the vulnerable customers living in their communities.
Retailers can fill in the ‘Retailer Services Checklist’ with details about the products, services and support that they have available for their customers, particularly those who may be more vulnerable or who are self-isolating.
The checklist is available in both an interactive and printable format, which retailers can then send to their local councils so that information about the services that their store offers can be communicated to the local community.
Retailers can also send the completed checklist to Alzheimer’s Society who will pass the information on to provide support for people living with and affected by dementia. The completed checklist can be sent to [email protected].
ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “By filling out this simple checklist, retailers can make their local council, charities and community groups aware of the services that they have available so that these can be accessed by the people that need them the most."
