2025 Crime Survey: Tell Us Your Experiences of Crime in Store

ACS is urging retailers to make their voice heard on the impact of theft, abuse and other crimes against their business by taking part in the 2025 ACS Crime Survey.

The survey aims to collect data on the impacts and scale of crime across the convenience sector, as well as the experiences of retailers in dealing with crime, how they invest in crime prevention and detection measures, and their relationships with the police and wider justice system.

All convenience store retailers are encouraged to take part, as this survey provides a detailed and accurate understanding of crime and its effects in the convenience sector. Findings of the survey are used to inform the ACS Crime Report, which informs MPs, officials, police and other decision makers about the reality of crime faced by retailers daily.

The findings of the survey will inform the 2025 Crime Report, which is a crucial tool in informing decision makers about the true scale of crime in convenience, and the measures that we would like to see taken to address the problems of repeat offending.

To take part in the survey, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ACSCrime2025. The survey takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and closes on January 17th 2025.

A PDF of the questionnaire can be found here.

For any questions about the survey, please contact Rosie Wiggins.
