Last Chance to Enter the 2014 Achievement Award to win a place on ACS' Barcelona Study Tour

ACS is calling on the brightest up and coming stars in the retail sector to take part in this year's Achievement Award to win a place on ACS' Barcelona Study Tour.

Since its launch, the Achievement Award has sought out the most promising people in the industry on both the supply and retail sides of the sector.

ACS Chief Executive James Lowman said: "The Achievement Award has been a launching platform for many rising stars in the convenience industry. This year's prize is an invaluable opportunity to network with some of the sector's top people and learn about the international convenience market.

“It’s very simple to enter – we don’t need entrants to send in long presentations or essays – it’s all about the quality of their ideas, simply expressed a up to 100 words.”

This year’s task is to  respond to the following statement in 100 words or less: "Share one idea for boosting convenience retailers’ profitability in the face of intense competition and technological change.”

You can enter by emailing Sarah C. Johnson at [email protected] with “Achievement Award” in the subject line.

The award is open to anyone aged 21-36 in the sector. The closing date for entries is August 4th 2014. The final judging will take place in September, where the successful entrants will be invited to present their ideas formally. The winner will receive a place on the ACS European Study Tour to Barcelona, Spain.
