Book Your Place for the ACS / PRA Forecourt Seminar on July 6th

The ACS Forecourt Seminar, taking place on the 6th of July is an unmissable industry event, packed with exciting ideas and concepts for both existing forecourt retailers and convenience retailers looking to expand their store’s offering to include selling fuel.

This year’s event, held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, will be split into three thought-provoking feature sessions looking at the challenges currently facing forecourt stores, examples of best practice from around the UK, and uncovering ideas for the future.

Top speakers already confirmed for the day include James Hallam from Accenture, Paul Hagon from Palmer & Harvey–who will share his knowledge of trends in forecourt retailing, and Michael O’Loughlin of Petrogas–who will speak on modern day forecourt retailing. To wrap up the first session, ACS chief executive James Lowman will provide the latest update from ACS on Forecourt issues, as well as participating in a Q&A Panel with James Hallam, Paul Hagon and Michael O’Loughlin.

The second session will focus on best practice and will feature a presentation from Molly Wilmot of Him! International and what she has learned from her time overseas. Nikki Rogers, Trading and Offer Implementation Director for BP, will close the session with a talk about industry partnerships.

Following lunch, there will be a third session discussing opportunities in the sector, organised by the Petrol Retailers Association. Speakers for this session include Brian Madderson, Chairman of PRA, who will look at what’s next in petrol retailing, and also a presentation by Robert Botkai of Winckworth Sherwood Property & Licensing Changes. Chris Dalton, Business Development Director at Lomosoft Gmbh will then discuss optimising fuel stocks. Amit Goyal, Marketing Manager and Boris Amado, Supply Manager at Essar Ltd will finish off the day with a presentation looking at fresh approaches to fuel retailing.
