ACS Welcomes Herbert to Club Membership

Technology supply firm Herbert has reinforced its commitment to convenience retailing in the UK by becoming a Club member of the Association of Convenience Stores.

Herbert provides retailers in the UK with innovative productivity enhancing solutions, with customers including leading tier 1, symbol and convenience retailers, as well as providing a very large number of businesses across the UK with different types of equipment, covering software, hardware and services across multiple markets, with the aim of helping businesses improve productivity and profitability.

The company has a unique position in the market, having been active for more than 250 years, and in having a nationwide team of service and support engineers. Herbert has joined the ACS to help convenience retailers achieve more from their stores, in terms of customer engagement and store performance enhancement, through the use of affordable retail technology.

With the convenience sector growing year-on-year, and more customers looking for a local in-store shopping experience to match that of an out of town in-store experience, Herbert’s thought-leadership, extensive retail experience  and product range will help convenience stores achieve more.

Mark Channen, Marketing Director at Herbert said: “We are a family business with a dedicated team who live and breathe retail technology. We are delighted to be ACS members, and we look forward to networking with forward thinking retailers who want to be innovators and really engage with their customers to increase loyalty and ultimately store profitability”.
