Local Shop Report

10th September 2019
National Space Centre, Leicester
10:00am - 1:00pm
Download iCal

This year’s report is the eighth edition and will build on the data from previous editions to highlight key areas of change and development that we have seen over recent years.

The Local Shop Report is the essential guide for those with an interest in the convenience sector, whether from a retail, supplier, academic or political perspective. The report features key insights into the people, businesses and services operating within the sector.

The morning launch event provides the opportunity to ask industry experts about the data in the report and to examine the changing landscape of convenience stores and the people who visit them.

There will also be an exclusive video at the launch showcasing the impact that convenience stores have on their communities and the innovative work that retailers are doing in their stores to meet the everchanging needs of their customers.

Panellists include:

  • Victoria Lockie, Head of Key Accounts, Nisa Retail
  • Graham Soult, Retail Commentator
  • Amish Shingadia, Owner, Londis Caterways
  • Amit Puntambekar, Business Owner, Nisa Retail

Hosted One2Ones

Taking place after the Local Shop Report, the Hosted One2Ones will begin from 2pm and will then be followed by dinner.

The Hosted One2Ones provide the unique opportunity for Premier Club and Club suppliers to meet with retailers and gain an increased understanding of the convenience sector and to build new and exciting relationships.

The 'dates' are short and focused, meaning retailers have enough time to understand the supplier's brand and the supplier to find out about the retailer's business.
