The Crime Seminar will feature a first look at the 2018 Crime Report, detailing the impact of crime on the convenience sector from shop theft and fraud to abuse, violent incidents and burglaries. The Seminar will also see the launch of new guidance which has been designed to help staff in stores mitigate the impact of crime.  

Victoria Atkins MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Crime, Safeguarding and Vulnerability, will provide an address to this year's Seminar, detailing the Government’s strategy to tackle crimes committed against retailers.

Speakers confirmed for the 2018 Crime Seminar include:

·         Rory Geoghegan, Head of Criminal Justice at the Centre for Social Justice

·         Patrick Holdaway, Head of the Local Policing Delivery Unit at Hampshire Police

·         Gary Brown, National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, City of London Police

·         Edward Woodall, Head of Policy and Public Affairs at ACS

·         Brent Payne, One Stop

·         Susan Connolly, SPAR retailer
