The National Assembly for Wales Economy Infrastructure and Skills committee has launched a call for written evidence to inform their inquiry on electric vehicle charging in Wales.

The call for evidence welcomes views on understanding the current charging infrastructure in Wales, how the infrastructure needs to develop, and whether the electricity grid is able to deal with a significant increase in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

DfT: E10 Petrol, Consumer Protection and Fuel Pump Labelling

The Department for Transport has launched a consultation which seeks feedback on:

  • proposals to ensure a continued supply of traditional E5 petrol for those motorists who will need it
  • a call for evidence on whether and how best to introduce E10 petrol
  • proposals to implement new fuel labelling as required by the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive
  • plans to change the consumer message that must accompany the sale of E10
