Providing our members with opportunities for networking is one our core activities.
It is crucial for our independent members to stay abreast of what is happening in the sector and as such ACS run a comprehensive schedule of forums each year that aim to share best practice and inform on new ideas and legislation. Forums cover crime prevention, responsible retailing, and environment and feature speakers from industry, supply sector, Government and ACS. All our forums are free to attend for members, usually run over a day and include lunch.
For forecourt retailers ACS runs the Forecourt Seminar, a day long, conference-style seminar specifically aimed at tackling issues related to forecourt retailing. The event brings together experts from within and outside of the industry, covering a breadth of subjects affecting this type of retailing. The Forecourt Seminar is free to attend for members.
Premier Club members are able to take advantage of both the Welcome to Convenience and A Day in the Life of a Buyer events. Aimed at broadening understanding of the convenience sector, these events are free to attend for Premier Club Members.

Heart of the Community is the annual event for Local Shop Campaigners and brings retailers, MPs and Ministers together in one place to discuss the issues of the day and to learn the best way to get their voices heard with their local MP and authorities. This event is free to attend for members and runs over the course of a day in London.
