Summit is ACS’ flagship event, bringing together expert opinion from retailers and industry speakers from within and outside of the Industry. Delegates attending this year's Summit included some of the biggest retailers and suppliers, along with many Independent Retailers.
Summit 08 was held on 24 April 2008 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole and focused on the themes of environment, innovation and community with speakers presenting inspiring stories on success and change within the industry and business.
The event was chaired by television presenter John Stapleton and featured entrepreneur, ex dragon and founder of the Yo! Sushi chain, Simon Woodroffe; and executive director of Friends of the Earth, Tony Juniper, along with top names in independent retailing such as The Proudfoot Group; James Graven & Sons; Booths; Plymouth & South West Co-op; Harry Tuffins; COOK.
