Community Action Forum

handshake More and more convenience retailers are waking up to the fact that their USP lies in becoming an essential part of the community they serve. If you’re not taking an active interest in the things going on locally then you will be left behind in the wake of the major multiples that are opening up all around you.

This forum aims to bring together ideas from across the industry to help you get more involved in your community. With practical tips and advice and real life examples of community best practice, no convenience retailer can afford to miss this event which is the first of its kind in the convenience sector.

The November 08 event featured speakers from the Department of Communities and Local Government, Help the Aged, Mid-Counties Co-op, and the Post Office. There were also opportunities for round table discussions.
