Book Your Place on the ACS Responsible Retailing Forum
The convenience sector faces constant challenges in the area of retailing responsibly, which is why ACS is continuing to provide Responsible Retailing forums to get to the heart of contentious issues on the subject.
At Responsible Retailing Forums members can expect to receive advice on issues affecting the sector, including regular updates from the Portman Group, local authorities and licensing experts.
The forum will feature a number of speakers who have a wealth of expertise in the responsible retailing field. During the day, Chris Mitchener from Licensing Solutions will explain the implications of the mandatory code of practice for alcohol retailers, representatives of the Drinkaware Trust will take part in a discussion on how the convenience sector can engage with the consumer education project and Jane Asscher from the Department of Health will explain the new government information campaign on alcohol targeting high risk drinkers.
The day will also feature presentations from representatives of LACORS and HMRC, as well as the ACS Public Affairs team keeping those in attendance right up-to-date on political issues and likely legislation.
The next Responsible Retailing Forum will take place on March 10th, at the Park Plaza County Hall. To book your place, please contact Sarah C Johnson on 01252 515001 or send an email here.
