Sewell Retail was named ‘Forecourt Trader of the Year 2009' at the glittering Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton, London on Thursday 24th September. The event was attended by 700 guests from the petrol retailing industry.

Patrick Sewell and David Craven-Jones from Sewell Retail were presented with the award and a cheque for £3,000 by Forecourt Trader editor Merril Boulton. The presentation was the climax of the awards ceremony.

Dedicated to recognising and rewarding the hard work and skills of petrol retailers nationwide, the Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards highlight those businesses which have displayed high standards of professionalism in an increasingly competitive sector.

To be chosen as Forecourt Trader of the Year is the highest accolade for any petrol retailer. It is recognition of entrepreneurial skill, imagination and dedication in running a successful business.
