Retailers Across the Country Count Down to Summit 10
4 May 2010
With less than 24 hours to go, retailers across the country are counting down to the flagship event of the industry.
Summit is undoubtedly the biggest and best event of its kind in the convenience sector. This year's event will take place on May 5th at the Birmingham Metropole and promises to be even stronger than last year.
In 2009, Summit attracted over 400 delegates representing retailers and suppliers from across the industry and we expect even greater numbers in 2010.
High calibre keynote speakers including Tim Smit from the Eden Project, Tim Hurrell from The Cooperative Group and Michael O Loughlin from Petrogas will present on the key themes of the Vision, Creativity, Risk and Determination, backed up with the voice of the independent retailer in the form of video case studies, featuring Independent Retailers Kishor Patel, Paul Cheema, Dee Patel, David Sands, Conrad Davies, and Mike Duffy. Chair for the day will be Angela Rippon.
Also, the winner of the 2010 Community Heroes Award will be revealed at the Gala Dinner.
