Esso 'On the Run' Joins ACS

Esso have joined ACS (Association of Convenience Stores) with their On the Run convenience format.
Since launching On the Run in the UK Esso will have over 90 stores by the end of 2007. At the 2007 Checkout Convenience Awards On the Run was named Best Convenience Forecourt Retailer in the group category.
James Lowman, Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted that Esso have joined ACS with their On the Run format. Convenience retailing within the forecourt sector is expanding hugely, with the convenience and food service offers being the most commercially productive and innovative areas. This is another step forward for ACS and Esso’s membership will strengthen our work representing the convenience sector.”
